Benedict Tutorial
The Benedict Tutorial Program is a short-term intervention offered across three Chifley College campuses; Mount Druitt, Dunheved, and Shalvey.
The program has been designed to support students with individual learning and behavioural needs by providing a small, supportive group environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.
The program focuses on developing social-emotional skills, positive behaviour, and academic learning, with an emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and social and emotional learning (SEL).
The main goal is to re-engage students in their education and help them achieve lasting success at school and beyond.
Program overview
The program is delivered through a supportive small-group model focused on individual growth and success.

- Core subjects: The program centres on literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
- Hands-on activities: Students participate in practical projects — for example, running their own café — to strengthen communication, teamwork, and relationship skills.
