Culture and diversity

Our school celebrates the rich mix of cultures within our community. We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported.

Through multicultural events, intercultural learning, and tailored support, we help students share their unique backgrounds and thrive both academically and personally. Working together with families and community organisations, we strengthen connections that celebrate cultural identity and build respect across our diverse school community.

Lunchtime programs
  • Provide a safe and supportive space to relax and express creativity
  • Activities include colouring, painting, jewellery making, weaving, sewing, message stick decorating, and yarning.
  • Sista Speak Sessions & Yarning with the Elders
  • Connect with strong female role models
  • Share stories and build confidence in cultural identity.
  • Mind, Body, Culture Activities
  • Focus on health and wellbeing
  • Encourage nurturing of physical, mental, and spiritual health
  • Maintain a deep connection to Country and culture.

Together, these experiences help our Aboriginal girls grow into proud, confident young women who are connected to their culture and supported to thrive in all areas of school life.
