School carnivals

Swimming carnival

To be held at Emerton Leisure Centre in Term 1.

Students have the opportuntity to show off their swimming skills and be supported by their peers cheering in the stands.

Students must return a permission note in order to compete, this is a requirement from the Department of Education. All forms are available from the PDHPE department.

Chifley College Mt Druitt Campus hosts an annual Athletics carnival at Popppondetta Park in Term 2. This event showcases the talents of our students in running, jumping and throwing. One of the highlights of the carnival is always the 100m sprint.

All students are exepted to attend and either compete or support their fellow peers. A great day for everyone teachers and students alike.

In Term 2 each year our students get to show off their running and endurance abilities in the schools Cross Country carnival.

Distances vary depending on age groups and all students are encouraged to have a go.
