Our extra-curricular highlights
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music, and art programs inspire students to explore their creativity and express themselves with confidence. Through these programs, students also have the chance to shine on larger stages, representing the school at major events and sharing their talents with the wider community.
Representative sport
Our students have the opportunity to represent the school at Zone and Sydney West Carnivals in a variety of sports, including Rugby League, Futsal, Dance, Netball, Touch Football, Badminton, Oz-tag, AFL, Volleyball, and Running Club. These events showcase student talent, teamwork, and school spirit across a range of competitive opportunities.
Incursions, excursions and student programs
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Debating and public speaking
Our debating teams help students build thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Students also have the opportunity to compete, beyond the classroom, in local and state events.
Study centre
Our Study Centre operates each afternoon (excluding Wednesdays of Week B) to support students with:
- KLA learning
- Literacy and numeracy
- Study skills
- Assessment task completion
The program is overseen by Ms Whiddon (Head Teacher Administration/Languages other than English) . Teachers are rostered on each afternoon to supervise students and provide additional academic support.
Students are encouraged to attend as often as they like, and are required to sign in. Students who attend must remain in the library until 3pm.
For further information or to obtain a permission note, please contact Ms Whiddon in the HSIE staffroom (Lethbridge Block).
