In Pasifika Club, students have the opportunity to learn about and partake in Pacific sport, traditional art, food and performing arts. Students learn and partake in Pacific sports such as ‘Kilititi’ (Samoan Cricket) and ‘Lape’ (Pasifika Modified baseball).
Students study and practise the Ancient Polynesian Art of ‘Tatau’ (Tattoo) by using traditional patterns and motifs to design a tattoo representing their family and cultural background.
For the majority of the semester, students practice and perform Pacific dance and song at school and community events such as Chifley Day, Harmony Day, Education Week, and Primary Feeder School Community Events.
